Back from the dead

Oh my, its been months since i updated this the last time. I just realized that people actually read my posts! That's kind of a motive to add new stuff, i guess.

I've been doing some artwork! Actually, i've come out with some ideas recently, and i wanted to share them with you. One of them is this concept that a friend of mine called a "Keltic Medusa". When i started drawing it i didn't have that in mind, but giving art it's meaning is as my job as it is yours right?

I have been working with colour, watercolours actually, but i still don't feel that good about them, since i started working with paint a few weeks ago. Maybe I'd upload something later, but i'll keep this post black and white.

I've come with some quickie sketches as well. For those who know me, i have some sort of fascination with Pan's Labyrinth, i came with some ideas about the Mandragore. It's much of fan art though. I also wrote the steps that Pan shares with Ofelia so that the spell could work. Hehe.

Earlier work

Hellow there people, i know i have months without posting anything... it's just that I always forget to update this blog, but here there are some of my last drawings that i seem to like the most, i just hope you like them.

This is some sort of Cernunnos concept I've been working on, i decides that it would be nice to make a skeleton of the ancient horned God.

There are some modifications that i still would like to do

on it, but this was some free drawing for my drawing classes, so its not as detailed as I would like to. Besides, this is done on bond paper, which I really hate to work on, maybe I will work on another piece on some other paper and with more patience too.

This other one I did it like 1 month ago, its not for any

asignment, I just felt like working on a big proyect, like giving

it a lot of my free time (since i had a lot).

There's not much to tell about it i think it speaks by itself pretty crearly.

Later on I'll update this blog with more illustrations and designs (if i remember)

Changing the Mood

Well... here comes a little change. Since now on, my posts will be in english, so that more people can read them.

I have long time without posting anything (at least its long for me). I just forgot updating this thing, cuz it's the most inactive account i have, and i usually upload my work with some text added to it, so it takes more time that the usual.

This time ill upload two of them. One is this beautiful portrait i made for Lindsay Vanhove, a very special friend of mine. I dont make many portraits, but when I do, i try to choose faces that amuse me a lot and have a very special meaning for me. In addition to it, i usually add some fantastic details so that it wont looklike a normal portrait, rather something special. I know it's not the great thing, but it means a lot to me.

The other artwork is a logotype i have been working on for some months already. The basic design has been modificated to the point that i get the concept i am looking for. I think this one is pretty close to what i am looking for. This one was done mostly with GIMP 2.6. I still dont know which colours (if any) I'm going to use in this one, but tis the basic design. I hope you like this one too.

Saludos gente, acá vengo después de un rato de no postear nada. Desde hace días he estado trabajando distintos logos que me han parecido interesantes, pero ninguno hasta el momento muy digno de subir a mi blog.Pero éste pareciera simpatizarme un poco mas que los anteriores, en el cual decidí incluir una serie de símbolos que considero importantes... por lo menos para mi.

Incluso podría llegar a ser un tatuaje, con algunos retoques.
En caso de que les interese, la simbologia de adentro hacia afuera del circulo es la siguiente:

1) Pentáculo wiccano.
2) Estrella de 8 puntas o Rueda del año Celta.
3) Zodiaco Celta.
4) Las cuatro estaciones del año.
